Collaboration on education produces the necessary graduates for businesses

NEW PROGRAMMES

Together with the pharmaceutical industry, UCPH has developed a new bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical chemistry. The programme ensures one of Denmark's most important export industries highly specialized candidates.

 

The pharmaceutical industry makes up 20 percent of Denmark’s total exports and is one of our most important industries employing 26,000 people. Chemists who can ensure ongoing development of innovative drugs are therefore in high demand by companies.

In collaboration with pharmaceutical companies, the University of Copenhagen has developed a new bachelor’s degree programme in medicinal chemistry. With its high level of expertise, the programme contributes to maintaining Denmark as world-leading in drug development and production.
